Located on Santa Cruz island in the Galapagos, Montemar consists of three beautiful eco villas. The resort is entirely eco-efficient hotel in the Galapagos and has the lowest environmental footprint of any operation in the islands.  This is the territory of the Giant Galapagos Tortoise: they roam around the 43-acre property, which includes an organic coffee plantation, wild horses, peace, silence and nature.

The owners are a husband and wife team, both experienced conservationists and galapagueños. They created Montemar with the aim to offer a sustainable option for visiting the islands. From water to energy, from food to waste, from location to materials used in the construction, every single aspect at Montemar aims to have the lowest environmental impact in the islands.  The guests are personally hosted by Reyna and Roberto; sharing their vision is part of creating a greater consciousness of conservation.

The villas themselves are sleek, eco chic with neutral colours and sustainable materials. Wide windows let the light in and offer spectacular views.
