The Samburu National Park is home an area of open bushland home to the Samburu people. This tribe has close links with the Maasai, and their colourful shawls and beautiful jewellery are a distinctive sight as they graze their cattle on the land.
The Ewaso Nyiro River runs through this area, providing a water source for the Samburu’s cattle. It also attracts a large amount of wildlife. There is plenty of the classic game, lions, leopards, elephants, and cheetahs. You can also find several species unique this part of Kenya including Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra and Gerenuk Antelope.
Samburu National Park is a lovely part of Kenya. Spend the day our on safari spotting the animals amongst the acacia trees and along the banks of the river and then return to your luxury lodge at the end of the day. Sasaab Camp

A butler-box allows for the discreet delivery of early morning tea, coffee and cookies.
