Next, you will fly straight into the Maasai Mara where you will spend three nights on safari. Spend the next couple of days heading out on game drives and enjoying a multitude of activities from bush volleyball to nature walks and night drives. Giraffe Manor
Giraffe Manor is set in 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest and close to Nairobi city centre. Built in the 1930s, it has maintained all the charm of the era and is now famous for its resident herd of Rothschild Giraffe. This property offers you an unparalleled experience with the giraffes – with them vying for your attention at the breakfast table, the front door and even your bedroom window. Giraffe Manor is home to many characters including warthogs, bushbuck, dik dik and more than 180 species of birds. There are six elegant ensuite rooms, the sixth room being the Karen Blixen suite.
Sala’s Camp
This elegant tented safari camp is situated near the convergence of two rivers in the heart of Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. The seven ensuite safari tents are set in a shady forest on the river’s edge. Each tent boasts a comfortable bed with crisp linen and a full ensuite bathroom. Sala’s Camp enjoys a prime location right on the annual path of the world-famous Great Wildebeest Migration.
