Estancia Cristina is a stunning property located in one of the most beautiful parts of Argentina.
Founded in 1914 by an English family, the farm was passed down through the generations. Today, the owners strive to maintain the traditions and origins of this thriving farm. Located on the shores of Lake Argentino, close to Upsala glacier in Los Glacieres National Park, this is a place of pure isolation and beauty. The glaciers and mountains of the Santa Cruz province of Argentina make for a striking backdrop to this fabulous lodge.
The lodge is comprised of 20 rooms set in 5 cabins. All are decorated in an elegant, rustic style and offer spectacular view across the Patagonian steppes to the mountains. Estancia Cristina operats a full board policy, and everything including transfers in and out, all meals and activities are included. The transfer in is an impressive experience in itself as guests are taken by boat across Lake Argentino and up the Upsala channel, passing spectacular glaciers and mountains. The food is based on the land and Patagonian tradition. The famous lamb being one of the focal points along with fresh vegetables and delicious homemade bread. Guests are sent off on their activities each day with a choice of meat or vegetarian packed lunch.
