MV EVOLUTION

The MV Evolution Galapagos Cruise Ship is tastefully designed with an intimate feel. The yacht accommodates up to 32 passengers with just 13 cabins and 3 suites, all of which features air-conditioning and private facilities.

The MV Evolution is a romantic ship with capabilities for sailing, featuring two sundecks, a boutique, a jacuzzi, two bars, a saloon, inside and al fresco dining plus an infirmary with an MD on board for any cases of sea sickness and even accompanies your small group off-ship. For the adventurous on board there is snorkelling equipment as well as access to kayaks. The on board boutique offers panama hats, expedition style hats, sunscreen, insect repellent, cacao liquor, crocs, sandals, underwater cameras, scarfs, expedition style polo shirts, towels, chocolates, Galapagos books, water bottles and graphic t shirts that help protect the islands.

The 13 cabins and 3 suites on the MV Evolution are split over 3 decks. On the Albatross deck you will find a Master suite and 2 other suites with ocean-view windows. The captain’s bridge, the al-fresco sky lounge and al-fresco bar are also located on this deck.  9 premium staterooms (double and twin) with ocean-view port holes can be found on the Cormorant Deck whilst the public bathroom of the yacht and the infirmary are also found on this deck. The Darwin deck hosts 4 ample deluxe staterooms (twin and double) with port-holes. The main deck of the yacht is the Beagle Deck where you will find the dining room, an al-fresco dining area, a reception area plus the main lounge with bar. On the outside of this deck, towards the bow, you will find the Jacuzzi with lounge chairs for relaxing.

Every day on board there will be talks about the Galapagos and the day’s activities provided by our naturalist guides which will help you understand your environment. The yacht has an “open bridge” policy aboard the MV Evolution meaning that you are welcome to visit the captain and crew and learn all about the ship’s operation and navigation.

It’s a superb ship for the perfect luxury holiday to the Galapagos Islands.
