PACUARE LODGE
Pacuare Lodge is a luxury eco-lodge in the rainforest overlooking the Pacuare River.

Pacuare runs and supports various projects in the area from reforestation to preservation and reintroduction of species such as jaguars and howler monkeys and funding of local schools and communities.
The restaurant is unique in that it employs local people who are excellent cooks and helps them to develop that passion. As a result, the cuisine is full of local flavours and traditional dishes. Most of the ingredients comes from the nearby organic farm, ensuring a true farm to table experience. The Nest is a private dining experience in a 60-foot-high Kapo tree.
The Kapo is considered sacred by the Mayans and this is the perfect place for a romantic meal by candlelight. The spa offers indulgent massages, facials and wraps using organic, natural products ensuring guests relax with the sound of the river flowing by. Numerous activities are on offer at the lodge including rafting, canyoning, hikes with indigenous Cabecar Indians, canopy tours and visits to local reserves and waterfalls.
