Scalesia Lodge is a luxury tented camp experience which offers a safari-style stay on the spectacular Galapagos Islands.
Opened in 2015, this luxurious lodge offers guests an alternative option for a holiday in the Galapagos Islands. In a similar style to the safari camps of Africa, this well-designed lodge is remotely located and offers tranquillity, breathtaking views and great facilities. The main lodge is like a work of art – modern, spacious and well designed. If offers 3 different social areas for reading and relaxation, alongside spectacular panoramic views and quirky furniture. The minimalist design is in stark contrast to the forest surrounding the property, allowing a true feeling of escapism. There is a restaurant on site, and the lodge offers a wide range of exciting activities including snorkelling trips, scuba diving, short hikes, mountain biking and kayaking. Away from the main building there are 16 tents dotted among the trees. Sturdy and secluded, the they offer visitors privacy in the wilderness of Isabela Island. Each is well equipped with facilities such as hot showers with tempered glass, bathrobes and large comfortable beds.
