QUARK ULTRAMARINE
Ultramarine is the newest ship in the Quark fleet, designed to go beyond the familiar in polar exploration and to discover new places, while immersing you in the best the region has to offer.
On board are two twin-engine helicopters, meaning that Ultramarine offers the most robust portfolio of adventure activities in the industry, the most spacious suites in its category, breath-taking public spaces, and more outdoor wildlife viewing spaces than other expedition ships its size. Featuring an innovative mix of sustainability features that exceed all industry standards.

The stand out feature on the ship are the two twin-engine Airbus H145 helicopters that are designed to take travellers deeper into the Polar Regions than any other helicopter in its class. It means that you can venture deeper into the Polar Regions than other travellers and set foot where few humans have ever walked, a true adventurous experience.
A flightseeing experience is included for all guests providing there are no local restrictions in the region you’re exploring. The twin-engine helicopters are also used for a number of exciting adventure activities including Alpine kayaking, heli-landings, heli-hiking and other ice sheet experiences.
There are various different room types, all of which are very spacious. The well configured rooms maximise the space with light tones and warm woods giving the suites an airy and modern feel. Each has a sitting area, small desk, heated floors and gear storage for your comfort. The Owners Suite and Penthouse Suite are particularly impressive.
There are two main options for dining, either in the main restaurant which features tables that accommodate 2 to 10 guests, so you can choose to dine in your own company or join a larger group of new friends. All tables feature fabulous views and the restaurant has direct access to the wraparound deck for any whale sightings. The Bistro is perfect for enjoying the polar landscapes, offering and indoor/outdoor dining experience.
The Panorama Lounge is a cosy gathering point where you can sip a glass of wine, engage in great conversation and socialise at the bar while enjoying unobstructed views of the awe-inspiring landscapes drifting by. It’s a lively venue in the evening for after dinner drinks.
The 20 Zodiacs on board and the water-level Zodiac hangar allows ultra-quick deployment enabling you to maximise your time off the ship. As well as the zodiacs there are kayaks and stand-up paddleboards on board.
A lecture theatre, library, polar boutique, vast viewing spaces plus a spa, sauna, gym and yoga room complete the facilities on this fabulous ship. If you’re looking for adventure and luxury, you’ve found it in the Ultramarine.

Located on Deck 3, and approximately 285 sq. ft. (26.5 m2). These suites are perfect for people traveling together or solo guests looking to share with like-minded individuals. This suite maximizes interior living space while still offering guests the opportunity to stay connected to the outdoors. Our entry-level twin suites are the largest available on a ship of this class.

Balcony Suite
Located on Decks 4 and 6, with approximately 226 sq. ft. (21 m2) of indoor living space, and a 52 sq. ft. (4.8 m2) balcony, this entry-level balcony suite is one of the largest available on a ship of this class. This suite is perfect for guests who are looking for both indoor and outdoor living spaces. There are four connecting suites in this category, making this an excellent option for families or groups wanting to stay connected to each other during their expedition.

Deluxe Balcony Suite
Located on Decks 4 and 6, with approximately 299 sq. ft. (27.8 m2) of indoor living space, and a 70 sq. ft. (6.5 m2) balcony. This suite is perfect for guests wanting a larger living space, full bathroom, and a substantial balcony. Deluxe Balcony Suites are the first suite type to offer additional privacy in the bathroom with an enclosed toilet, a full bath and shower to make it easier for guests to get ready together in the morning.

Centrally located on Deck 6, guests will enjoy minimal movement and motion from the comfort of these suites.

The only suite category to be located on Deck 7, with approximately 369 sq. ft. (34.3 m2) of indoor living space, and a 67 sq. ft. (6.2 m2) balcony. This suite is perfect for guests wanting to wake up to unobstructed polar views from the warmth and comfort of their bed onboard the ship. These suites offer the best of everything—views, spacious interiors, full bathrooms and generous balcony sizes—as well as easy access to the wellness centre.

Experience a true polar quest as we journey on our new ship, Ultramarine, which is equipped with two twin-engine helicopters that will fly guests to the vicinity of this rarely-visited rookery, whereupon they will walk across the thick sea ice to stand within metres of the most coveted penguin species on the planet. Epic Antarctica: Crossing the Circle via Falklands (Malvinas) & South Georgia
Epic Antarctica voyage is called so for a reason—it includes all of the major Antarctic highlights you can imagine. From the Falkland Islands to South Georgia to the Antarctic Peninsula, you will have unforgettable moments on this adventure-packed, 23-day voyage. Crossing the Circle: Southern Expedition
Setting foot on the 7th Continent is a polar achievement relatively few people experience in their lifetime. South Georgia and Antarctic Peninsula: Penguin Safari
This itinerary is the fastest way to get to the seldom visited South Georgia Island while also setting foot on the 7th continent. As we set sail, photograph massive albatross and beautiful pintado petrels as they swoop and soar around the ship, guiding us toward South Georgia. Beaches teeming with king penguins and elephant seals greet us on this fabled island. Go further into the Antarctic sea on a Zodiac, or on a sea kayak, undertake an exhilarating hike up a sparkling glacier, or share an endearingly comical moment with an inquisitive gentoo, chinstrap and Adélie penguin.
