This itinerary starts with two nights at El Silencio Lodge and Spa. This luxury hotel is just over two hours from San Jose, nestled in the rainforest canopy. Start your trip in complete tranquillity and enjoy time exploring the surroundings with your guide. You then continue on the Arenal region, famous for its volcano. Spend three nights here in a gorgeous hotel and enjoy some adventure activities for which this region is famous. The next two nights are spent surrounded by the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Your tour will take you through the forest and also up high through the canopy along hanging bridges. You can finish your trip with three nights relaxing on the beach in beautiful Guanacaste.

DAY 1
Arrive into San Jose
Arrive in San Jose where your guide will be waiting to take you straight to Bajos del Toro deep in the rainforest.

DAY 2
Explore the Central Valley
This morning your guide will take you on a private hike to see some beautiful waterfalls
DAY 3
Transfer to Arenal
Today you will travel to Arenal where you will spend three nights, overlooking the famous volcano.

DAY 4
Zipline over Lake Arenal
Take a fun ride through the rainforest canopy on a zip line with spectacular views of the volcano and surrounding forest.
DAY 5
Raft the Balsa River
Today you can enjoy a rafting trip along the Balsa river – an exhilarating experience!
DAY 6
Transfer to Monteverde
Transfer across beautiful Lake Arenal to the Monteverde region where you will spend the next two nights.

DAY 7
Tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest
Spend a day with your private guide exploring the cloud forest from the ground and through the canopy on hanging bridges.
DAY 8
Transfer to Guanacaste
Today your guide will take you to beautiful Guanacaste where you will spend the next three nights.

DAYS 9 – 10
Free time on the beach
These days are free for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach surroundings.
DAY 11
Fly Home
At the appropriate time today you will take a flight back to San Jose to connect with your international flight home.
