Classic Uganda
A 6-day safari that takes you to three of Uganda’s amazing national parks in search of chimpanzees, mountain gorillas and animals of the savanna.
You will start your trip heading straight into the Kibale Forest National Park from Entebbe. Here you will spend the night in a luxury lodge and go trekking in search of gorillas in Kibale forest. From here, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park and spend two nights in the southern part, the remote Ishasha sector. Here you can go trekking in search of chimpanzees and enjoy a game drive, hopefully spotting some plenty of wildlife including the tree-climbing lions. You can also enjoy a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel where you will see plenty of hippos, birds and other river wildlife and if you are lucky buffalo, elephant and maybe even a lion. Finish the trip with two nights in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Here you will visit a local village, an opportunity to support the local community whilst enjoying visiting various interesting including the traditional healer, banana brewery and Primary school. Finally, go gorilla trekking again, making the most of your opportunities to encounter Uganda’s incredible primate population.

Overlooking the primeval Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and with stunning views of the forest canopy across a serene stream, Bwindi Lodge is one of Africa’s unique lodges. The property has dramatic views of the impenetrable forest and is a great place to spot the monkeys and birds hidden in the foliage. This beautiful lodge has just eight stone and timber glass-fronted bandas, which face the lush forest canopy. Guests can enjoy delicious meals and evening drink at the cosy bar and dining area, which overlooks the forested slopes, or relax by the fire in the lounge.
