Fly to Cuba
Today you will fly to Cuba. Upon arrival into José Martí International Airport, you will be met by a guide and taken to your hotel by private transfer where you will spend three nights in the bustling city of Havana. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a short tour of the city. Walk in the footsteps of Havana’s colonial past visiting the four key squares of Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening you can enjoy some live jazz music at a local bar.

Art and dance in Havana
Today you will visit the National Art School of Cuba (ISA), including architect Vittorio Garatti’s ruined ballet school. Your guide will give you an insight into the strong cultural role the arts play in Cuban society and you’ll have an opportunity to chat with students. In the afternoon you can take some salsa lessons before going to a salsa matinée, a loud, bustling, energetic concert, full of Cubans who love to dance.
Culture and cuisine in Havana
Today you will really get to know the city of Havana, visiting Ernest Hemingway’s villa in an old vintage car. Later, you will have the opportunity to have a private dinner with Chef Alberto and enjoy a Bolero performance. Alberto is one of the only three Cubans to have a Michelin star and the only living and working in Cuba. He will cater to your tastes using the finest ingredients while enjoying the best local entertainment in a spectacular location in Havana.
Today you will travel to Trinidad, via Cienfuegos. You will have lunch on the beautiful Cienfuegos bay before continuing your journey to Trinidad where you will be taken on a tour of the city where an expert guide will explain the history of the town and give you insight into its fascinating history in the colonial era, and during the years after the Revolution.

Jeep Safari to Topes de Collantes
Today you will ride up to the Escambray mountains in 4X4 SUVs. You will go up to Guanayara and trek trough the tropical forest of Topes. Bird watching and an opportunity for swimming at the waterfall make this a must for nature lovers. Later you can enjoy a unique experience of horseback riding into the valley at sunset.
Travel to Granma
Today you will travel from Trinidad to Granma. This is a 7-hour transfer which includes lunch and amazing sights along the way. Spend an evening at leisure at your hotel.

Morning trek and travel to Santiago de Cuba
Trek to Comandancia de la Plata (Fidel’s Hideout), a 2-3 hour gentle hike through the Sierra Maestra mountains to reach the organising and staging post for the Cuban revolution. Later travel to Santiago de Cuba and enjoy a tour of the city in a vintage car.

Activities in Santiago de Cuba
During the day you may go riding or trekking in the mountains or head to the beach to sunbathe, paddle, or go surfing. In the evening visit the El Morro fortress to enjoy the sunset.
