Take a private tour of the city including a visit to a local market to see the colourful produce and sample some typical food. Your stay in Uruguay will finish with four nights in the luxury Fasano Las Piedras. Located inland, a little way from glamourous Punta del Este, the hotel is known for its excellent restaurant and exceptional service. Enjoy a visit to a winery, complete with traditional asado lunch and also dinner at the best seafood restaurant in Jose Ignacio.

DAY 1

Arrive into Uruguay

Arrive in Uruguay and transfer to Carmelo for the next three nights.

DAY 2

Visit the hotel winery

Spend the day at Narbona Wine Lodge, sampling the produce and touring the winery and farm.

DAY 3

Day at leisure

Today is free for you to relax as you wish and in the evening, you can enjoy dinner at the nearby La Liebres restaurant.

DAY 4

Travel to the capital city

Take a transfer to Montevideo and check in to your hotel for the next two nights.

DAY 5

Explore Montevideo

This morning your guide will collect you for a private, half day tour of Montevideo.

DAY 6

Travel to Punta del Este

Today you will take a private transfer to the Fasano Las Piedras where you will spend the next four nights.

DAY 7

Wine tasting and traditional lunch

Enjoy a private tour to the Vina del Eden winery. Here you can taste the wines and finish with a typical Uruguayan asado (barbeque) lunch.

DAYS 8 – 9

Days at leisure

This time is free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities at the Fasano or venture further afield to explore the area. One evening you will be taken to Jose Ignacio for a delicious seafood dinner on the coast.

DAY 10

Fly home

Take a private transfer back to Montevideo for your flight home.
