Enjoy two nights in beautiful Muscat with a private tour that gets you under the skin of this bustling coastal city. Next, you will visit Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. Famous for its livestock market, this is a charming city with a vibrant souq. Continue on to the mountain region of Jebel Akhdar and spend two nights in a stunning hotel with time to relax and explore rose and almond plantations and enjoy some relaxation or activity, whichever takes your fancy. From here, head across country to Wahiba Sands, Oman’s vast desert region, home to Bedouin tribes and huge, stunning wilderness. You can spend two nights here in a luxurious tented camp. Take in the sunsets, explore the dunes with your private guide and visit lush wadis in this exceptional part of the country. From Wahiba Sands head to the coastal city of Sur, famous for the traditional dhow boats that are constructed on the beach. Return to Muscat for a flight south to Salalah. Take some time to explore the Dhofar mountains, visiting the tomb of the prophet Job, encountering herds of cows and camels, encountering the views across the green mountains of the Salalah plains. Here you can find historic Frankincense trees and simply spend some time relaxing on the beach before flying home.
