Beginning with the jungles of Manaus, you will have the opportunity to explore the region of the Anavilhanas river archipelago from your luxury lodge. At Caiman Lodge in the southern Pantanal, your specialist jaguar-spotting programme will bring you as close as possible to these majestic big cats in their natural habitat as you shadow the conservation team’s valiant efforts to increase the resident populations. In Bonito snorkel in crystal-clear rivers and observe sinkholes full of feeding macaws before travelling to the northern Pantanal for two further days of wildlife activities. Visit the remote forests of the southern Amazon from the charming Cristalino Lodge before finishing your tour searching for maned wolves in the dusty savannahs of the cerrado.

DAY 1
Arrive into the Amazon
Arrive into Manaus, the gateway to the northern Amazon, and transfer to your lodge in the Anavilhanas archipelago for the next three nights.

DAYS 2 & 3
Explore the Amazon
Over the next two days you will participate in activities scheduled by the lodge exploring this magical eco-system through canoe tours, nocturnal safaris and jungle hikes.
DAY 4
Travel to Campo Grande
Today you will fly from Manaus to Campo Grande and spend one night in the city.

DAY 5
Arrive at your lodge in the Pantanal
You will be picked up by your guide and transferred to your wildlife lodge in the southern Pantanal where you will spend the next four nights.

DAYS 6 – 8
Search for the nearby wildlife at the lodge
During your time at Caiman, you will participate in a specialist jaguar observation programme and watch the jaguar conservation team at work while touring the region in search of interesting fauna.
DAY 9
Travel to Bonito
Today you will transfer to Bonito, and check-in to Pousada Boyrá for the next three nights.

DAY 10
Explore the surroundings of Bonito
Enjoy a full day tour of the Gruta Azul subterranean cave, the Buraco das Araras sinkhole and a snorkelling experience in the crystal-clear Rio da Prata.

Free time to relax
Today you will have a free day to explore the region independently or relax at your hotel.
DAY 12
Travel to the northern Pantanal
Returning to the airport in Campo Grande, you will fly onward to Cuiabá in the northern Pantanal, where you will spend one night in the city.

DAY 13
Transfer to Pousada Rio Mutum
This morning you will transfer to Pousada Rio Mutum in the northern Pantanal for the next three nights.

DAYS 14 – 15
Activities in the northern Pantanal
During this time you will enjoy a variety of activities set by the lodge to see the best of the landscapes and wildlife in this part of the vast Pantanal wetlands.
DAY 16
Travel to your next wildlife lodge
Today you will fly from Cuiabá to Alta Floresta, tucked away in the remote southern Amazon, and transfer to Cristalino Lodge for the next three nights.

DAYS 17-18
Enjoy another two days exploring the Amazon
Over the next two days, you can enjoy a programme of activities at Cristalino Lodge – situated in an area famous for its population giant river otters and plethora of exotic bird species.
DAY 19
Travel to Brasília
This afternoon you will return to the airport and fly to Brasília, Brazil’s ultra-modern capital, where you will spend one night at Hotel B Brasília.

DAY 20
Travel to the Brazilian cerrado
Early this morning, you will catch a light aircraft flight to a remote luxury lodge in the Brazilian cerrado (savannah) where you will spend the next three nights.

DAYS 21 – 22
Enjoy activities in the cerrado
During your stay at Pousada Trijunção, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting activities in this off-the-beaten track eco-paradise. You can also learn more about the lodge’s maned wolf conservation project.
DAY 23
Fly home
Today you will return to the airport in Brasília for your flights home.
